Kick-off: Take Your Idea to the Next Level

Kick-off is the signature incubation program from the Liberec Business Incubator.
It’s an intensive 3-month journey designed to support you in starting a startup.

You’ll work side-by-side with experienced mentors, hit key milestones, and wrap it all up by pitching to a panel of investors – with the chance to secure funding for your launch.

Over the program, you’ll discover:

Exactly what product or service you’re bringing to market.
Who your customers are and how your market works.
The unique value you bring.
Whether entrepreneurship is truly the right path for you.

What to Expect

Commit at least 12 hours a week.
Designed for teams of two or more – but solo founders are welcome! We’ll help match you with potential teammates before the program starts.
Based in (or planning to do business in) the Liberec Region.
Focused on innovative, scalable ideas with the potential to make the world a better place.

How It Works

During Kick-off you’ll take part in group workshops and one-on-one consultations with experienced experts. Several milestones along the way will challenge you – overcoming them will move your project forward. This is a rigorous program. Meet our Experts.

Throughout the program, you’ll gain essential knowledge in business, law, finance, and more – and put it straight into practice.

FAQ

Can I join without a business idea?

Absolutely. Strong teams also need people with marketing, business, or technical expertise. This is your chance to join a meaningful project and get hands-on experience in building a business.

What if I don’t have a team?

No problem – before the program kicks off, you’ll have the chance to meet other participants and form teams. Only if you click, of course.

How much time will I need?

Around 12 hours per week. Expect to test your idea with customers, research competitors, define your target audience, understand industry norms, and work through legal and financial planning. You’ll also be having key discussions with co-founders about equity, direction, and strategy. Outside of fixed workshops, you’re free to plan your time and capacity as you wish.

When’s the deadline to apply?

August 31, 2025 – but apply early. There’s an online interview before the program starts, which is a great chance to refine your business vision.

When are the workshops, and will there be requirements to move forward in the program?

The autumn schedule will be released soon. Between workshop blocks, you’ll need to complete milestones to move forward. Your coach will keep you on track, help you meet deadlines, and step in as a mediator if needed.
